Today I am proudly endorsing Jeff Foster for Wisconsin State Senate District 23. While Jeff does have a primary opponent, and I have had the pleasure of meeting both candidates on multiple occasions, I want to be clear - both bring great ideas to the table. But great ideas alone don't win elections, and they certainly don't win the fights that matter for the working families of this district. What wins elections is determination. Courage. The willingness to show up anywhere and everywhere for the people you're fighting for. Jeff Foster has demonstrated every one of those qualities in every conversation we've had about our shared vision for northwestern Wisconsin. He understands what rural communities need, he's willing to fight for it, and he has the grit to go the distance. Th working families of Price, Rusk, Chippewa and Taylor counties deserve representation at every level of government - in the Assembly and in the Senate. Together Jeff and I are committed to fighting for healthcare, family farms, clean water, affordable childcare, and an economy that actually works for working people.
